DigiSat has upgraded a large number of FTA and Foxtel systems over the years and we aim to find the best solution for every single project, from 2 to 20000 connection points.
The preference will always be an upgrade with a minimum amount of recabling, however if the existing cables are not suitable for ongoing good and stable reception, it is better to replace these than investing in an upgrade only to realise after a short period of time that re-cabling is required and everything done so far was wasted.
In cases of recabling we can often use existing cable paths or wall cavities to achieve the best outcome. Where there is no option to use existing paths or ‘hide’ the cables, we can install external or internal ducting that blends in nicely with the surroundings to keep a buildings appearance as neat as possible.
We will also give you advice and suggestions if other services and cables could be installed at the same time to future proof the building and avoid having to do the same work for another service within the short or medium term.
For some medium to large buildings it will be beneficial to install a structured cabling system within the common areas which will cover all services for many years to come.
