Do you think it’s good if you call a technician for a new antenna and he goes straight up to the roof and installs it? Think again. It doesn’t matter if it is a new installation or replacing an existing antenna, the first thing we do is carrying out a signal survey to find the best location for your antenna. This is essential to give you the best and most stable reception and save you from pixelation and these annoying sound cut outs during your favourite movie or sports show. It is possible to increase the signal strength within a system, however the signal quality cannot be increased it is only ever as good as what is coming off the antenna and the quality is more important for good digital TV reception. If all parts in the system are good quality the signal quality will remain the same but if there are faulty parts or the system has been designed incorrectly the quality will only get worse. So getting the location right is the first and most important step for any antenna installation. This is easier in some areas and requires more planning in others, however there is a good solution for all buildings.
DigiSat has installed hundreds of TV antennas in many different environments and locations. We only use good quality parts and pay attention to detail to achieve the best possible reception and also make sure that everything is sealed properly to avoid water getting into the building. Getting the rest of the distribution in a building correct so all connected outlets have the same signal also requires knowledge and experience and is important especially for blocks of units and community estates.
