Macquarie Park Village is a major 700-unit residential development located in Macquarie Park, close to Macquarie Shopping Centre and Macquarie University. The development comprises seven residential towers, named after Australia’s capital cities and territories: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin and Hobart. The site was developed on the former Stamford Grand location.
DigiSat was engaged to design and install the Foxtel TDT and Free-to-Air (FTA) television distribution system across the development, providing reliable television services throughout all seven towers.
As part of the installation, DigiSat completed the fit-off of the television outlets within each unit and undertook comprehensive testing of the completed system. A key part of DigiSat’s approach is its commitment to testing every individual connection point, rather than relying solely on sample testing.
This thorough testing process ensures that each outlet is verified and operational prior to handover, providing confidence that the completed system is fully functional, reliable and ready for residents from day one.
The project demonstrates DigiSat’s ability to manage the delivery of television distribution systems across large-scale, multi-tower residential developments, with detailed installation and testing processes designed to achieve a reliable system at handover.
