Our Projects

CBA Darling Square

  • Integrated Foxtel & FTA Distribution
  • Simple, Reliable & Robust Operation

DigiSat was contracted to design and deliver the combined Foxtel and Free-to-Air (FTA) in-house television distribution system for CBA Darling Square, incorporating a range of modulated services throughout the development. The system was designed to provide a simple, reliable and robust solution, with ease of operation and long-term performance as key priorities.

DigiSat integrated the Foxtel, FTA and modulated services into a centralised distribution platform, with careful system design and equipment selection ensuring consistent, high-quality television services throughout the building. The completed system provides building management with a straightforward, reliable solution requiring minimal ongoing intervention.

Eastgate Towers Bondi

  • Long-Term FTA System Performance
  • Future-Ready Foxtel Infrastructure

DigiSat has been servicing Eastgate Gardens for a number of years. We initially upgraded the existing Free-to-Air (FTA) system to improve its performance and reliability, and have continued to maintain the system to ensure consistent and dependable operation.

DigiSat is currently upgrading the building’s TV infrastructure to meet Foxtel requirements, allowing Foxtel services to be distributed through the existing FTA infrastructure. This upgrade is designed to prepare the building for the future transition away from the HFC network and ensure it is ready for Foxtel services to be delivered via satellite when required.

Greenland Centre

  • DigiSat’s 5th nbn co Fibre TV Project in Sydney
  • Specialised High-Rise Reception Design

Greenland Centre is DigiSat’s fifth nbn co Fibre TV project in Sydney. DigiSat was selected to plan, design and deliver a suitable solution for FTA and Foxtel reception and distribution throughout the development.

At 235 metres, Greenland Tower presents unique technical challenges, with the height and movement of the building requiring careful consideration during the planning and system design process. DigiSat has worked closely with the project’s consultants and engineers, while also conducting our own simulations and testing to ensure the selected equipment and system design will deliver reliable FTA and Foxtel reception throughout the building.

Greenland Lachlan’s Line

  • 600-Unit Residential Development
  • Advanced Fibre TV & Satellite Distribution

Greenland’s Lachlan’s Line is a 600-unit residential development on Epping Road, North Ryde. DigiSat was selected to design and install the infrastructure for a combined FTA and Foxtel system across four towers, feeding into the nbn co Fibre TV distribution network.

The project is the first nbn co Fibre TV site to utilise a Foxtel Satellite Multi Stacker, incorporating advanced broadcasting equipment from Wisi Germany to provide a highly reliable and stable system. The fibre optic distribution equipment features redundant power for additional reliability, while DigiSat provides 24/7 remote monitoring of the FTA, Foxtel and fibre optic systems to ensure rapid response and minimise downtime.

Macquarie Park Village

  • 700-Unit Residential Development
  • Complete Foxtel, TDT & FTA Installation

Macquarie Park Village is a 700-unit residential development located near Macquarie Shopping Centre and Macquarie University. Comprising seven towers — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin and Hobart — the development occupies the former Stamford Grand site at Macquarie Park. DigiSat designed and installed the Foxtel, TDT and FTA systems across the development.

DigiSat also completed the fit-off and testing of all units, with every individual connection point tested as part of our standard handover process. This ensures the system is fully operational and provides confidence that the TV infrastructure is working correctly throughout the development from day one.

Mirvac St Leonards

  • 600-Unit Residential Development
  • Hybrid Fibre Optic & Coaxial Infrastructure

DigiSat was appointed to design and deliver the Foxtel and Free-to-Air (FTA) distribution system for Mirvac’s new development in St Leonards. Working closely with the project consultants, DigiSat reviewed and redesigned the initially proposed solution to incorporate the latest technology and provide a more effective system.

The resulting design combines fibre optic and coaxial cable infrastructure to deliver Foxtel and FTA signals efficiently and reliably to all 600 units. The solution was developed to provide high-quality signal distribution while maximising the performance and efficiency of the overall system.

Omnia Potts Point

  • 135 Luxury Apartments
  • High-End Fibre TV Distribution

Omnia Potts Point is a high-end development comprising 135 luxury apartments. DigiSat was awarded the design and installation of the combined FTA and Foxtel TDT system via nbn co Fibre TV, providing a reliable TV distribution solution throughout the development.

In line with DigiSat’s quality assurance policy, every unit and connection point was individually tested prior to handover, with the system also monitored remotely 24/7. High-end Wisi Germany broadcasting equipment was selected for the fibre optic conversion and distribution to deliver reliable, high-quality performance.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital

  • 300m Fibre Optic Distribution Solution
  • Reliable Hospital-Wide TV Reception

DigiSat was contracted to install the Foxtel and Sky satellite dishes and FTA antenna on top of the hospital’s new section, while the existing headend remained approximately 300 metres away. DigiSat designed and delivered a fibre optic distribution solution to reliably connect the new reception equipment to the existing headend and provide uninterrupted Foxtel and FTA services to all rooms.

All reception and transmission equipment included in the design can be remotely monitored 24/7, allowing DigiSat to identify and respond to potential issues quickly. This helps minimise service interruptions and downtime, which is particularly important in a hospital environment.

Urbanest Student Accommodation

  • Integrated TV, Audio & AV Systems
  • Complete In-House Entertainment Solution

DigiSat has designed and installed systems across a number of student accommodation projects. At Urbanest Darlington, DigiSat was selected to design and deliver the Foxtel and FTA TV distribution system, in-house broadcasting, multi-zone audio system and complete media room fit-out. The TV system provides Foxtel and FTA services to common areas and FTA distribution to all student rooms, with selected in-house channels distributed to designated areas.

DigiSat also designed and installed the multi-zone audio system for common areas and the gym, as well as the complete media entertainment room, including surround sound, projector and multiple audio/visual sources. The project demonstrates DigiSat’s ability to deliver integrated technology solutions across complex student accommodation environments.

Wentworth Point Marinas

  • Australia’s First nbn co Fibre TV Site
  • 10,000+ Connection Points Across 7 Stages

Wentworth Point Marinas by Billbergia is a major waterfront development comprising approximately 4,000 residential units across seven stages. DigiSat designed and installed the first two stages using a traditional MATV system with fibre distribution, with the latest stages utilising nbn co Fibre TV infrastructure — a system also designed and installed by DigiSat and the first nbn co Fibre TV site in Australia. Once complete, the development will exceed 10,000 connection points, all receiving signals from a central headend in Stage 1.

DigiSat provides 24/7 monitoring and ongoing maintenance of the site, proactively upgrading equipment where required to maintain reliable TV and Foxtel reception for residents. DigiSat is also one of only five nbn co Fibre TV Content Service Providers (CSPs) in Australia, with its selection reflecting the company’s long-standing focus on quality workmanship, reliable installations and stable, trouble-free TV services.
