DigiSat was appointed to design and deliver the television distribution solution for Mirvac’s new residential development in St Leonards, providing reliable Foxtel and Free-to-Air (FTA) services across approximately 600 residential units.
Working closely with the project consultants, DigiSat reviewed the initially proposed system and developed an alternative solution incorporating the latest television distribution technology. The redesigned system was developed to improve efficiency, reliability and overall system performance while meeting the specific requirements of the development.
The final solution combines fibre optic and coaxial cable infrastructure, using each technology where it is most effective. This hybrid approach allows television signals to be distributed efficiently throughout the development while maintaining high-quality Foxtel and FTA reception across all 600 apartments.
DigiSat’s involvement from the design stage allowed the system to be tailored specifically to the building, rather than simply implementing the original specification. The result is a modern, reliable and efficient TV distribution network designed to provide consistent service to residents.
The project demonstrates DigiSat’s ability to work collaboratively with developers, consultants and engineers to review, optimise and deliver technically advanced television distribution solutions for large-scale residential developments.
